Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Baskent Genclik (2-8) lost on the road to eleventh ranked Istanbul B.B. (5-5) 72-61 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Istanbul B.B.. Baskent Genclik was better in fourth quarter 17-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Serbian power forward Marko Kolaric (213-84, college: Chaminade) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Baskent Genclik's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Istanbul B.B. maintains eleventh place with 5-5 record. Baskent Genclik lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixteenth position with eight games lost. Istanbul B.B. will face higher ranked Pamukkale (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
