ProB top team - Hannover Tigers (9-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked BSV Wulfen (6-6) 71-52. The game was mostly controlled by Hannover Tigers. BSV Wulfen was better in fourth quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Canadian forward Jacob Doerksen (200-87, agency: Interperformances) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. American guard Richard Williams (178-87, college: San Diego St.) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Dijon Smith (203-89, college: Ft.Hays State) produced 15 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Steve Briggs (178-85, college: Okla.Wesleyan) added 14 points respectively for lost side. BSV Wulfen's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Hannover Tigers have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group North with 9-2 record. BSV Wulfen lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Hannover Tigers' next round opponent will be Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (#9) on the road and are hoping to win another game. BSV Wulfen will play against ALBA Berlin II.
