Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Pamukkale (7-4) edged at home 11th ranked Istanbul B.B. (5-6) 81-78 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 15 points after three quarters before their 32-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Matthew Pilgrim (203-87, college: Oklahoma St., agency: KMG Sports Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds and guard Goekhan Senol (183-84) who added 20 points and 6 assists during the contest. Pamukkale's coach Firat Eser used entire bench in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Serbian power forward Marko Kolaric (213-84, college: Chaminade) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and guard Sezgin Eris (185-85) scored 14 points and 8 assists. Four Istanbul B.B. players scored in double figures. Pamukkale moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 4 other teams.
