A very interesting game took place in Valjevo. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 10th ranked Metalac (3-7) to ninth ranked OKK Beograd (4-3) 81-78 in the fight for the ninth place. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Metalac won fourth quarter 31-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. OKK Beograd made 28-of-35 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game, while Metalac only scored ten points from the stripe. 25 personal fouls committed by Metalac helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Swingman Dragan Mitrovic (200-85) fired 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. point guard Luka Drca (195-87, college: Utah, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 17 points. Forward Stefan Balmazovic (202-89) produced 23 points and guard Stefan Atanackovic (196-84) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Five OKK Beograd and four Metalac players scored in double figures. Metalac's coach Bosko Djokic tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. OKK Beograd maintains ninth position with 4-3 record. Metalac at the other side keeps the tenth place with seven games lost. OKK Beograd's next round opponent will be higher ranked Smederevo Vizura (#6) at home and it may be quite challenging game. Metalac will play against Napredak Rubin (#14) in Krusevac.
