There was a minor upset when 12th ranked TBB Trier (4-7) lost on the road to fourteenth ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (4-6) 77-64. TBB Trier was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 43-29 second half run of EnBW Ludwigsburg. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks.
