Very significant was Spot Up Medien Baskets' (#4) 84-77 road victory against 5th ranked Dorsten in Group North. Dorsten was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 46-38 second half run of Spot Up Medien Baskets. It was a great shooting night for Spot Up Medien Baskets especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. Center Daniel Theis (207-92) notched 21 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Waldemar Buchmiller (195-80) supported him with 23 points. Even 20 points and 7 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) by American guard Terry Bryant (186-85, college: SE Louisiana) did not help to save the game for Dorsten. His fellow American import center Blake Poole (195-88, college: St.Martin's, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) added 12 points and 14 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Spot Up Medien Baskets (9-4) moved-up to second place in Group North, which they share with Vechta.
