Mitteldeutscher BC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Power forward Steve Wachalski (203-83) stepped up and scored 14 points for the winners and American guard Robert Holcomb Faye (185-84, college: Radford) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists. Holcomb Faye is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side naturalized American power forward Ryan De Michael (205-77, college: Tenn-Martin) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and Nigerian forward Ike Okoye (206, college: Boise St.) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Mitteldeutscher BC have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-1 record. Newly promoted NBC keeps the seventh position with six games lost.
