The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Brose Baskets as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Brose Baskets defeated 4th placed Artland Dragons in Bamberg 92-76. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Artland Dragons. The game was mostly controlled by Brose Baskets. Artland Dragons managed to win fourth quarter 20-16.
