Regular Season Round 11: SISU - Amager 85-58
Date: December 4, 2011
The game between Top Four teams took place in Copenhagen. Leader host SISU (11-0) smashed 4th placed Amager (4-7) 85-58. The game was mostly controlled by SISU. Amager managed to win second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. SISU forced 22 Amager turnovers. It was a great evening for American center Stephanie Madden (185-88, college: Langston) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Kiki Lund (177-83, college: Dayton) helped adding 23 points and 4 steals. Forward Ena Viso (183-93) responded with 9 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Ida Klussmann (169-93) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SISU have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-0 record. Amager lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Aabyhoj and Vaerlose. SISU are looking forward to face Aabyhoj (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Amager will play against Vaerlose and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
