The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Genc Telekom (11-1) in Ankara on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by nineteenth ranked Orman Genc (3-9) 77-70. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Genc Telekom. Genc Telekom was trailing by 8 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 22-13 charge of Orman Genc, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Mikhail Torrance (196-88, college: Alabama) stepped up and scored 6 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and forward Arif Erhan Kocamis (196-86, agency: 1x1 Sports) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Orman Genc's coach Serhan Aydanarig used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84, agency: TSS Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Rahim Rizvanoglu (183-86) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four Genc Telekom players scored in double figures. Orman Genc moved-up to seventeenth place, which they share with Balikesir and Istanbulspor. Genc Telekom at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Orman Genc is looking forward to face higher ranked Gaziantep (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Genc Telekom will play against Darussafaka in Istanbul and is hoping to win this game.
