Very significant was Gaziantep's (#5) 69-64 road victory against 8th ranked Final Genclik. Final Genclik was ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 20-10 charge of Gaziantep, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Antabia Waller (188-88, college: Auburn) nailed 25 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and center Umut Durmus (206-80) accounted for 12 points and 7 rebounds. Center Volkan Tokcan (203-88) came up with 15 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Erdem Ilter (-90) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Final Genclik in the defeat. Four Final Genclik players scored in double figures. Final Genclik's coach Ali Ozbay tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Gaziantep (8-4) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Selcuk Univ. and Maliye Milli. Final Genclik at the other side dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Gaziantep will play against Orman Genc (#19) in Ankara in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
