The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Sofia: Lukoil Academik (#1) and Levski Sofia (#2). Levski Sofia was crushed at home by 20 points 65-85 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Levski Sofia. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-65. 25 personal fouls committed by Levski Sofia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Lukoil Academik are looking forward to face Rilski Sportist (#3) in Samokov in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Levski Sofia will play on the road against Balkan in Botevgrad and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
