No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Ezerunas-Karys (9-11) crushed bottom-ranked Gargzdai-Bremena (5-15) in Moletai 72-46 on Saturday. The game without a history. Ezerunas-Karys led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Ezerunas-Karys outrebounded Gargzdai-Bremena 44-28 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Raimondas Ambrulaitis (199-82) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds. Swingman Benas Steponenas (195-83) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Four Ezerunas-Karys players scored in double figures. Ezerunas-Karys' coach Mindaugas Kildisius felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Renatas Jonelis (201-84) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and forward Marius Grigaitis (196) added 12 points in the effort for Gargzdai-Bremena. Ezerunas-Karys moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Meresta. Gargzdai-Bremena at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. Ezerunas-Karys will face league's leader Delikatesas in Joniskis in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Gargzdai-Bremena will play at home against Silute (#13).
