Regular Season Round 15: Noerdlingen - TSV Troester 74-71

Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked TSV Troester (5-8) was edged on the road by fourth ranked Noerdlingen (10-3) 74-71 on Saturday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-14. But TSV Troester won second period 23-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Noerdlingen won last quarter 15-14. TSV Troester was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was forward Josef Eichler (200-87) who scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Jason Jamerson (188-86, college: Grand Valley St.) chipped in 24 points and 6 rebounds. Four Noerdlingen players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Daniel Schmidt (186-90) who recorded 16 points and American guard Dion Harris (190-85, college: Michigan) added 17 points respectively.
