Leader Mitteldeutscher BC delivered the eleventh victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 12th ranked Saar-Pfalz Braves (4-9) 102-65 in Weissenfels. The game without a history. Mitteldeutscher BC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Mitteldeutscher BC outrebounded Saar-Pfalz Braves 34-21 including 20 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 58.6 percentage. Icelandic guard Hoerdur Vilhjalmsson (188-88) scored 25 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Arizona Reid (196-86, college: High Point) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Naturalized Greek guard Kosta Karamatskos (197-86) responded with 16 points and British-Australian guard Lee Jeka (187-83, agency: Limelight Hoops) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
