The game with biggest result difference took place in Ankara. Local Optimum TED (10-3) outscored 11th ranked Gelisim (6-7) 83-55. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Gelisim. The game without a history. Optimum TED led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Gelisim's 36. They outrebounded Gelisim 37-19 including a 29-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. Optimum TED players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Guard Ali Kavaklioglu (186-86) notched 9 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and power forward Nezih Ozbakir (206-80) supported him with 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Even 13 points by American forward De Vaughn Washington (202-89, college: Ohio, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) did not help to save the game for Gelisim. Forward Emre Ozpulat (200-82) added 9 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Optimum TED maintains second position with 10-3 record behind leader Genc Telekom. Gelisim at the other side keeps the eleventh place with seven games lost. Optimum TED's next round opponent will be Tire Gucu (#14) which should be another easy win for them. Gelisim will play against Darussafaka in Istanbul.
