There was no surprise when 13th ranked Otopeni (3-9) was crushed at home by third ranked Gaz Metan (10-3) 88-69. Otopeni was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 54-31 second half run of Gaz Metan. They outrebounded Otopeni 43-32 including 35 on the defensive glass. Otopeni will play against Perla Harghitei in Miercurea and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
