There was no surprise when 8th ranked Lemvig (3-9) was defeated on the road by third ranked Horsens (7-5) 73-65. Lemvig was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 39-30 second half run of Horsens. It was a good game for American swingman Brittany Bowen (177-88, college: Butler) who led her team to a victory with 32 points and 9 rebounds. Australian guard Charmaine Furgeson (176-86) contributed with 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Horsens' coach Sonny Madsen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Emely Hatch (-89) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Helle Kristiansen (179-92) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Lemvig. Horsens have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 7-5 record having five points less than leader SISU. Lemvig at the other side stay at the bottom place with nine games lost. They share the position with Falcon. Horsens will play against league's second-placed Horsholm at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lemvig will play against the league's leader SISU (#1) in Copenhagen and hopes to get back on the winning track.
