Regular Season Round 12: Aabyhoj - SISU 40-78

Undefeated leader SISU delivered the twelfth consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Aabyhoj (4-8) 78-40. The game without a history. SISU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aabyhoj to just 5 points in third and fourth quarters. SISU forced 21 Aabyhoj turnovers. The best player for the winners was American center Stephanie Madden (185-88, college: Langston) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Trine Duelund (180-84) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four SISU players scored in double figures. SISU's coach Hrannar Holm felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Courtney Coryea (185) who recorded 19 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Fie Husted (174-84) added 4 points and 7 rebounds respectively. SISU (12-0) have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 12 victories in a row. Aabyhoj at the other side dropped to the fifth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Amager. SISU are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Lemvig (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aabyhoj will play against Vaerlose and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
