A League top team - Crvena Zvezda (10-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Stara Pazova (3-7) 88-63. The game without a history. Crvena Zvezda led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-21 charity shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Crvena Zvezda forced 29 Stara Pazova turnovers. It was a quality performance for Bosnian forward Ana Niksic (181-91) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Jovana Karakasevic (190-92) accounted for 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Center Ivana Terzic (187-86) came up with 12 points and 8 rebounds and forward Sandra Sormaz (180-86) added 17 points and 4 steals respectively for Stara Pazova in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Crvena Zvezda maintains first place with 10-1 record. Stara Pazova lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. They share it with Loznica. Crvena Zvezda will play against Loznica (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Stara Pazova will play against Beocin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
