Top ranked Genc Telekom (11-2) recorded its second loss in Istanbul on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by tenth ranked Darussafaka (8-5) 63-51. The game was mostly controlled by Darussafaka. Genc Telekom managed to win second period 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Genc Telekom to just 7 points in first quarter. The best player for the winners was guard Goekhan Sunter (196-80, agency: 1x1 Sports) who scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Can Korkmaz (187-92, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 11 points. Darussafaka's coach Aziz Bekir used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
