Everything could happen in Bursa at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Final Genclik and 9th ranked Pamukkale had identical 8-5 record. This time Final Genclik used a home court advantage and outplayed the opponent from Pamukkale 93-73 on Friday night. The game without a history. Final Genclik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Final Genclik forced 19 Pamukkale turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Final Genclik especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. It was a good game for forward Orcun Okkali (201-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). point guard Erdem Ilter (-90) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Final Genclik players scored in double figures. American forward Matthew Pilgrim (203-87, college: Oklahoma St., agency: KMG Sports Management) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and guard Goekhan Senol (183-84) added 14 points and 5 assists in the effort for Pamukkale. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Final Genclik (9-5) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Darussafaka. Newly promoted Pamukkale keeps the ninth position with six games lost. Final Genclik will face Pertevniyal (#13) in Istanbul in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Pamukkale will play at home against Orman Genc (#19) in Ankara.
