There was no surprise when 18th ranked BG Goettingen (2-11) was defeated on the road by second ranked ratiopharm Ulm (10-2) 82-71 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 30-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The game was also dominated by American players. Forward Dane Watts (203-86, agency: Pro One Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. point guard Tommy Mason-Griffin (180-89, college: Oklahoma) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists.
