Regular Season Round 15: Pi Koleji - Gaziantep 48-65

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked Genc Telekom (11-3) in Ankara on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Gaziantep (10-4) 65-48. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Gaziantep. Genc Telekom managed to win second period 13-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gaziantep forced 21 Genc Telekom turnovers. It was a good game for forward Salih Ugrasan (201-83) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Antabia Waller (188-88, college: Auburn) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Forward Sahin Ekmen (203-89) answered with 14 points and 7 rebounds and forward Hazer Avci (206-87, agency: Court Side) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Genc Telekom. Gaziantep have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams. Genc Telekom lost third consecutive game.
