The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Delikatesas (14-8) in Joniskis on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by sixteenth ranked Gargzdai-Bremena (6-16) 76-71. The guests trailed by 13 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 5 points. Gargzdai-Bremena forced 22 Delikatesas turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Delikatesas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Point guard Dominikas Matutis (180-91) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Mantas Martinkus (186-91) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Gargzdai-Bremena are looking forward to face higher ranked Triobet (#11) in Jonava in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Delikatesas will play against Matinga-Juod. (#8) and is hoping to win this game.
