Regular Season Round 16: Pulsar - Musson 79-73

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Musson (12-4) against fifth ranked BC-93 Pulsar (9-7) on Saturday night. Visiting Musson was defeated by BC-93 Pulsar in a tough game in Rovno 73-79. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 21-11. But Musson won second period 18-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by forward Evgen Korovyakov (197-88) who scored that evening 15 points and 9 rebounds and forward Andrei Artimovic (202-85) supported him with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four BC-93 Pulsar players scored in double figures. Even 22 points and 7 rebounds by Russian center Dmitri Lipovtsev (207-86) did not help to save the game for Musson. Nikola Eromin added 14 points for lost side. BC-93 Pulsar maintains fifth position with 9-7 record. Newly promoted Musson keeps the third place with four games lost. BC-93 Pulsar will again play against higher ranked Musson (#3) in Symferopil in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
