No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Istanbul B.B. (7-8) won against on the road 18th ranked Usak (4-11) 79-68 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Istanbul B.B. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Istanbul B.B. outrebounded Usak 42-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian power forward Marko Kolaric (213-84, college: Chaminade) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and guard Sezgin Eris (185-85) who added 16 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Istanbul B.B. players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Dijuan Harris (175-86, college: Charlotte, agency: ARN Sports and Entertainment) responded with 24 points and forward Nikolay Pastal (202-83) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Istanbul B.B. moved-up to eleventh place. Usak lost tenth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventeenth position with 11 games lost. Istanbul B.B. will face higher ranked Maliye Milli (#6) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Usak will play against Vestel (#9) in Manisa.
