No shocking result in a game when second ranked Levski Sofia (9-2) beat at home bottom-ranked Spartak Pleven (1-10) 90-82. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Spartak Pleven won third quarter 20-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Levski Sofia dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak Pleven's 34 and made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Spartak Pleven 44-24 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Levski Sofia players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Levski Sofia will play against Chernomorets (#7) in Burgas in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Spartak Pleven will play at home against Rilski Sportist in Samokov to get more than just one victory in their record.
