Superleague top team - Budivelnyk (15-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked BC Odessa (11-8) in Kyiv 104-77. The game without a history. Budivelnyk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American guard Chris Monroe (191-81, college: G.Washington) fired 22 points for the winners. Montenegrin-Bosnian swingman Suad Sehovic (197-87) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Five Budivelnyk players scored in double figures. Vincentian center Shawn King (208-82, college: ORU) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and American-Bulgarian point guard Willie Deane (188-80, college: Purdue, agency: Higher Vision Sports) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 15-5 record. BC Odessa at the other side dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. Budivelnyk will have a break next round.
