The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Brose Baskets as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Brose Baskets smashed 16th ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg in Bamberg 95-64. The game was mostly controlled by Brose Baskets. EnBW Ludwigsburg managed to win third quarter 26-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
