Eleventh-ranked BBC Bayreuth (7-9) made lots of trouble for first ranked Brose Baskets (13-2) on Monday. The visitors from Bamberg managed to secure only two-point victory 68-66. However their fans expected much easier game. BBC Bayreuth was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Brose Baskets made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. American forward Anthony Leon Tucker (198-85, college: Texas) fired 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners.
