We should mention about the upset which took place in Wuerzburg, where higher ranked ALBA Berlin (9-5) was outleveled in a road game by ninth ranked s Oliver Baskets (9-7) 84-65 on Monday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-65. s Oliver Baskets dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to ALBA Berlin's 24. American power forward Jason Boone (198-85, college: New York U.) fired 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The other American import guard Ricky Harris (188-87, college: Massachusetts) chipped in 20 points. s Oliver Baskets' coach John Patrick used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International guard Heiko Schaffartzik (182-84) produced 22 points and American forward Torin Francis (210-83, college: Notre Dame) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. s Oliver Baskets moved-up to sixth place, which they share with NY Phantoms and B.Muenchen. ALBA Berlin lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with five games lost. s Oliver Baskets will face Walter Tigers (#13) in Tuebingen in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
