The game in Porto supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked AD Vagos (11-1) played at the court of 7th ranked AFC-Liberty S. (5-7). AD Vagos smashed AFC-Liberty S. 102-69. The game without a history. AD Vagos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 61.9 percent from the field. AD Vagos shot the lights out from three nailing 19 long-distance shots on high 73.1 percentage. The winners were led by Brazilian forward Lilian Goncalves (186-79) who scored that evening 34 points (!!!) (on 13-of-14 shooting from the field) and Brazilian center Flavia Santos (187-82) supported her with 9 points and 11 rebounds. AD Vagos' coach Nuno Ferreira felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 30 points by American guard Donica Cosby (172-88, college: Oklahoma City) did not help to save the game for AFC-Liberty S.. Center Mariana Silva (178-88) added 12 points and 5 rebounds. AD Vagos have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Alges. AFC-Liberty S. at the other side keeps the seventh place with seven games lost. AD Vagos will play against GDESSA (#4) in Barreiro in the next round. AFC-Liberty S. will play on the road against Boa Viagem in Angra Heroismo and hopes to get back on the winning track.
