Twelfth-ranked Kryvbasbasket (7-15) made lots of trouble for second ranked Budivelnyk (16-5) in Kyiv. Budivelnyk managed to secure only two-point victory 94-92. However their fans expected much easier game. Kryvbasbasket was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 25-16 charge of Budivelnyk, which allowed them to win the game. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with BC Donetsk. Kryvbasbasket at the other side dropped to the eleventh place with 15 games lost. Budivelnyk will play against Dnipro (#8) in Dnepropetrovsk in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kryvbasbasket will play at home against Halychyna in Lviv and hopes to get back on the winning track.
