The game had a very big importance for second-ranked BC Donetsk as it allowed them to take a leadership position. BC Donetsk defeated 3rd placed Khimik at home 92-84. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Khimik. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 27-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. BC Donetsk made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Serbian point guard Vule Avdalovic (189-81, agency: Beo Basket) who scored 20 points and 8 assists. BC Donetsk will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Dnipro in Dnepropetrovsk.
