The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked LKKA-Aistes' (5-10) road loss to fifth ranked Utena (7-8) 66-82. The game was mostly controlled by Utena. LKKA-Aistes was better in third quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Utena outrebounded LKKA-Aistes 32-20 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for forward Jurga Budryte (187-81) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). Newly promoted Utena maintains fifth place with 7-8 record. LKKA-Aistes lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth position with ten games lost. Utena's next round opponent will be league's leader VICI-Aistes in Kaunas and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
