Thirteenth-ranked SSV Lok Bernau (1-16) gave a tough game to fourth ranked RSV Eintracht (10-6) on Saturday. The visitors from Stahnsdorf managed to secure only eight-point victory 104-96. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 32-22 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 26-18. SSV Lok Bernau was plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. The best for the losing side was American guard Jermale Jones (186-86, college: Tuskegee) with 29 points and 5 assists and his fellow American import power forward Martinis Woody (201-82, college: Benedict) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. RSV Eintracht have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position in Group North with 10-6 record. SSV Lok Bernau lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 16 games lost. RSV Eintracht will face ALBA Berlin II (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SSV Lok Bernau will play against SC Rist Wedel and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
