Rather predictable result when eleventh ranked Kryvbasbasket (8-15) won against bottom-ranked Halychyna (2-21) in Krivoy Rog 101-95 on Monday. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 51-40 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Kryvbasbasket made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Halychyna turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Kryvbasbasket maintains eleventh position with 8-15 record. Halychyna lost sixteenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 21 lost games. Kryvbasbasket will face higher ranked BC Odessa (#6) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Halychyna will play against DniproAzot (#13) in Dniprodzerzhynsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
