Regular Season Round 27: Delikatesas - Perlas-MRU 90-82

Not a big story in a game in Joniskis where 10th ranked Perlas-MRU (13-14) was defeated by third ranked Delikatesas (17-10) 90-82 on Friday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 31-13. But Perlas-MRU won third quarter 34-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Delikatesas forced 19 Perlas-MRU turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Aivaras Kvedaravicius (184-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Vidmantas Uzkuraitis (189-85) helped adding 23 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Gintautas Vileita (193-75, college: Monmouth) with 22 points and forward Mantas Kazonas (201-89) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Delikatesas moved-up to second place, which they share with Nafta Universitetas and LKKA-Atletas. Loser Perlas-MRU dropped to the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Delikatesas will face Triobet (#10) in Jonava in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Perlas-MRU will play at home against ABRO-Universitetas in Siauliai.
