Regular Season Round 15: Lemvig - SISU 53-85

Undefeated leader SISU delivered the fifteenth consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked Lemvig (3-12) 85-53. The game without a history. SISU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Lemvig's 34. SISU forced 29 Lemvig turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Trine Duelund (180-84) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Forward Tea Jorgensen (177-87) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. SISU's coach Hrannar Holm felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Emely Hatch (-89) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds and American center Rebecca Kielpinski (188-89, college: Alaska-Anch.) added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively. SISU (15-0) have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 15 victories in a row. Lemvig lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. SISU are looking forward to face Amager (#7) in Kastrup in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Lemvig will play on the road against Horsens and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
