The game in Torres Vedras was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Sangalhos (6-5) played at the court of sixth ranked Fisica (6-5). Fisica defeated Sangalhos 78-68 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 46-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Fisica outrebounded Sangalhos 30-17 including 23 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was naturalized Guinea-Bissau forward Josimar Cardoso (201-87) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Edson Rosario chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Miguel Carmo produced 22 points and 6 steals and swingman Emanuel Silva (188-79) added 13 points respectively for the guests. Five Fisica and four Sangalhos players scored in double figures. Fisica moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Sangalhos. Fisica will meet Electrico FC (#7) in the next round. Sangalhos will play against Guifoes and hope to secure a win.
