There was a small surprise when seventh ranked Pieno Zvaigzdes (7-6) defeated on the road 4th placed Siauliai (9-5) 82-78 on Saturday. Siauliai was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 32-27 charge of Pieno Zvaigzdes, which allowed them to win the game. American-Puerto Rican point guard TreVon Hughes (183-87, college: Wisconsin, agency: Edge Sports) fired 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Paulius Morkeliunas (201-85, college: LIU Brooklyn) chipped in 15 points. The former international forward Valdas Vasylius (203-83, college: ODU) produced 22 points and 9 rebounds and American-Samoan point guard Rashaun Broadus (183-84, college: BYU) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Siauliai's coach Antanas Sireika rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Pieno Zvaigzdes moved-up to sixth place. Loser Siauliai keeps the fourth position with five games lost.
