Important game to mention about took place in Celarevo. Tenth ranked Beocin (5-10) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging higher ranked Celarevo (8-8) 64-62 on Sunday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Celarevo won fourth quarter 21-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Beocin dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Celarevo's 26. Beocin forced 19 Celarevo turnovers and had a 25-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by Ivana Kosanovic who scored that evening 17 points and 7 rebounds and Maja Golubovic supported her with 10 points and 6 rebounds. Four Beocin players scored in double figures. Even 31 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by forward Snjezana Vasic (178-75) did not help to save the game for Celarevo. Forward Sonja Maric (185-85) added 10 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Beocin moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Spartak and Stara Pazova. Celarevo at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Radnicki KG. Beocin will play against higher ranked Sabac (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Celarevo will play against the league's second-placed Jagodina 2001 having rather not much hope for a victory.
