Regular Season Round 19: Walter Tigers - B.Muenchen 80-65

An interesting game took place in Tuebingen where higher ranked Bayern Muenchen (10-9) was upset on the court of fifteenth ranked Walter Tigers (7-12) 80-65. The game without a history. Walter Tigers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. 27 personal fouls committed by Bayern Muenchen helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Reggie Redding (196-88, college: Villanova) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Louis Campbell (190-79, college: Buffalo, agency: Pro One Sports) contributed with 20 points and 5 steals for the winners. Four Walter Tigers players scored in double figures. Guard Jonathan Wallace (187-86, college: Georgetown, agency: Pro One Sports) answered with 17 points (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) and forward Chevon Troutman (202-81, college: Pittsburgh, agency: ACMT) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Bayern Muenchen. Bayern Muenchen's coach tested ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Walter Tigers moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with LTi 46ers and Phoenix Hagen. Newly promoted Bayern Muenchen dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. Walter Tigers' next round opponent will be higher ranked BBC Bayreuth (#11) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
