Sixth-ranked LKKA-Aistes (5-13) used its home court advantage to challenge fourth ranked Lemminkainen (10-7) in Kaunas on Saturday. The visitors from Klaipeda managed to secure only three-point victory 78-75. However their fans expected easier game. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 31-15 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Lemminkainen outrebounded LKKA-Aistes 49-32 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for point guard Rita Milieskiene (175-78) who led her team to a victory with 29 points and 5 rebounds. The former international swingman Lina Aglinskaite (182-87) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Laura Svaryte (190-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and forward Kornelija Balciunaite (176-81) added 22 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for LKKA-Aistes. Lemminkainen maintains fourth position with 10-7 record. LKKA-Aistes lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
