Very significant was Dunav 8806's (#1, 14-1) victory against 3rd placed Montana 2003 (8-7) 66-55. The game was mostly controlled by Dunav 8806. Montana 2003 managed to win second period 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Montana 2003 to just 6 points in third quarter. Dunav 8806 forced 22 Montana 2003 turnovers. It was a great evening for American forward Adrienne Johnson (182-89, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds. Dunav 8806 have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-1 record. Montana 2003 at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. Dunav 8806 are looking forward to face Rilski Sportist (#6) in Samokov in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Montana 2003 will play at home against Beroe 07 in Stara Zagora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
