Eleventh-ranked Darussafaka (9-11) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Selcuk Universitesi (16-4) in Istanbul. The visitors from Konya managed to secure only one-point victory 78-77. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests were ahead by 5 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 20-17 run, which allowed them to win the game. Forward Erdem Turetken (199-79, agency: Interperformances) stepped up and scored 18 points for the winners and guard Mustafa Gucyetmez (188-80) chipped in 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Darussafaka's coach Aziz Bekir rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Selcuk Universitesi have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Darussafaka lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Pamukkale. Selcuk Universitesi will play against Istanbul B.B.
