Regular Season Round 25: Halychyna - Mykolaiv 82-91

Very expected game when 14th ranked Halychyna (3-23) lost to tenth ranked Mykolaiv (10-16) in Lviv 82-91 on Monday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Halychyna won third quarter 16-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Halychyna was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for American swingman Rodney Green (195-88, college: La Salle) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 assists. His fellow American import point guard Deonta Vaughn (185-86, college: Cincinnati, agency: New Trend Agency) contributed with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American guard Lance Harris (195-83, college: Kansas St.) answered with 20 points and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Halychyna. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mykolaiv maintains tenth place with 10-16 record. Loser Halychyna stay dead last with 23 lost games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
