Regular Season Round 17: Falcon - SISU 73-89

Dameligaen top team - SISU (17-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat seventh ranked Falcon (4-13) 89-73. It looked good early as Falcon took an 15-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then SISU took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 16 points. American center Stephanie Madden (185-88, college: Langston) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Camilla Blands (180-85, college: Alabama) accounted for 21 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five SISU players scored in double figures. Guard Elisabeth Hansen (176-93) came up with 16 points and guard Emma Block-Frederiksen (170-92) added 16 points respectively for Falcon in the defeat. Falcon's coach Steffen Lund rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. SISU have an impressive series of seventeen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 17-0 record. Falcon lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 13 games lost. They share it with Lemvig. SISU will play against league's second-placed Horsholm at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Falcon will play against Horsens (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
