Second Stage Round 2: ABRO-Univ. - Ezerunas-Karys 66-74

Very expected game when 15th ranked ABRO-Universitetas (7-25) lost to tenth ranked Ezerunas-Karys (17-15) in Siauliai 66-74 on Saturday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-13. But ABRO-Universitetas won third quarter 19-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Raimondas Ambrulaitis (199-82) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Giedrius Kulbis (187-81) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Center Agnius Gurklys (205-88) replied with 21 points and 9 rebounds and guard Rokas Giedraitis (195-92) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for ABRO-Universitetas. Ezerunas-Karys moved-up to ninth place in . Loser ABRO-Universitetas dropped to the bottom. Ezerunas-Karys will face Gargzdai-Bremena (#15) at home in the next round where they are favorite. ABRO-Universitetas will play against S.Marciulionio in Vilnius.
